Our philosophy of service extends beyond promoting healthy living for our pets. As part of living whole-hearted lives, the folks at My Favorite Pet are involved in diverse aspects of creating a better community and world. Some of our activities may be showcased here.

Congratulations and thanks go out to Dr. Impson, Courtney Ritchie, RVT and Bailey Joseph for a job well done during their visit to The Booshoft Museum of Discovery’s ‘2014 Vet Science Camp’.

Dr. Impson, Courtney and Bailey visited the camp to present ways to best address emergency pet care in the home. The camp was for elementary school children, My Favorite Pet presented to 4th – 8th graders on Thursday, July 17.

All I can say is WOW!  The visit was fantastic!  The students really REALLY enjoyed it.  I am an educator and animal lover, but certainly no expert and vet!  And having professionals come in is so meaning for kids.

The program was perfect! Even more than I expected.  I am so grateful to you [My Favorite Pet] and Courtney, Dr. Impson and Bailey. I really can not thank you enough. Especially because you put an extra effort to keep in touch with me during this extremely busy time of year.

Please let me know if there is anything that I can do for you, besides tell everyone who'll listen how terrific you and your staff (Bailey too) are!

Thanks again,

Kimberley Clough, M.Ed., Manager of School and Teacher Services, Boonshoft Museum of Discovery

My favorite Pet thanks the Boonshoft Museum of Discovery for the opportunity to assist the community with activities such as this and once again offer our gratitude to Dr. Impson, Courtney and Bailey for their great representation of My Favorite Pet.

A local Brownie/Girl Scout troop sent sweet thank you cards to My Favorite Pet in Vandalia OH. They were too sweet not to share! We're thankful to have had such wonderful young women come visit us at My Favorite Pet/Vandalia Animal Clinic.

 November 2012
Recently Pet's Best Insurance ran a "My Favorite Vet" contest. Dr. Joseph was surprised and pleased to be nominated - and to become one of six finalists. The votes are in, and Dr. Brett Bauscher of Canyon Small Animal Hospital in Idaho won.

Dr. Joseph considers it a great honor, thanks to your support, to have been named a finalist. Special thanks to Denise for nominating Dr. Joseph. A thoughtful thank you to all the veterinary medical staff, who haven chosen this profession and who show kindness and compassion to our animal companions as well as their human friends. Veterinary medicine helps save lives, and when it is done with kindness and compassion, it opens hearts.
